Three right candidates, not thirty CVs.

Inside Cubicle is a boutique hiring consultancy in Gurgaon. I take on one or two searches at a time, and I speak to every candidate before you do. The shortlist you receive is short because someone actually chose.

Plate 02 — The Other Kind IC · 2026 · PL-02

You've seen the stack.

Fifty CVs by Friday. Keyword matches from a database, forwarded by someone who hasn't read the job description — or spoken to a single person on the list. A junior on the account by week two. Silence after the invoice.

Every hiring manager in NCR carries this scar tissue. Inside Cubicle is built as the antidote: fewer mandates, senior attention, and a shortlist where every name has already survived a real conversation with me.

Plate 03 — The Method IC · 2026 · PL-03

One search at a time, done properly.

  1. The brief

We spend an hour on what the role actually needs — the job as it is, not the JD as written. Fifteen years of demanding briefs taught me the difference, and it's usually where a search is won or lost.

  2. The search

I work my network and the open market. Anyone worth your time first has a proper conversation with me — skills, motivation, and an honest picture of the role. No one reaches you unspoken-to.

  3. The shortlist

You receive three candidates, each with my assessment notes: why they fit, where they'll stretch, and what to probe in the interview. Your hour goes into meeting people, not sorting paper.

  4. After the offer

I stay close through the notice period and the landing. Every placement carries a replacement guarantee, in writing.

Fifteen years on your side of the table.

I'm Amrita Hazari. Before Inside Cubicle, I spent fifteen years in advertising — JWT, Leo Burnett, Havas, and Wunderman Thompson — running accounts like The Times of India, Apple, and Nestlé, and building the teams that kept them.

That career was one long exercise in judging people under pressure: who can carry a client, who folds at the first crisis, who is worth fighting to keep. I've been the person accountable for the hire, not just the person filling it. That judgement is what you're engaging.

Also, once upon a time, a national rhythmic gymnastics champion — so I know exactly what disciplined preparation looks like when it matters.

What I won't do.

If you need fifty CVs by Friday, I'm the wrong consultancy — and I'll tell you so on the first call. The refusals are the reason the shortlist works.

Plate 06 — The Invitation

Tell me about the role.

One conversation. If I can take the search on, I'll tell you exactly how I'd run it. If I can't — because my one-or-two-mandates rule means I'm full — I'll say so immediately, and you'll have lost nothing but twenty minutes.
